A big thank you!
I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the Maesteg and District Football League this summer. All players, referees Dan Smith and Dean Cox, supporters and peopled who helped out.
Every single game was played in the right way, in good spirit and with full effort from everyone involved. The league has been a huge success, better than I expected, and it is down to every single person who took part.
I’m very proud of what we have achieved and look forward to doing it all again next summer!
Special thanks to my brother, Rob, for his help and support in organising and running the league and everyone else who took time to help with the posts etc over the 14 weeks.
I hope most of you will come and join us to celebrate at our Presentation Evening next Friday, down the Celtic from 7pm. Friends and family all welcome, tickets are £1 or £2 on the door, all of which will go to charity. We have a DJ and of course there’ll be plenty of drinking and having a laugh.
